摘要: Mass dispersion in porous media is an import phenomenon and its study has applications combustion steam injection systems for Enhanced Oil Recovery, example. Accordingly, the of flow through gained much attention lately advances proper modelling such flows, which include non-linear effects, have been published. In this work, mass tensors were calculated within infinite medium formed by spatially periodic array longitudinally- displaced square ellipticals rods. For sake simplicity, just one unit-cell, together with boundary conditions momentum equations, Neumann concentration, was used to represent medium. The numerical methodology employed based on control volume approach. Turbulence assumed exist fluid phase High- as well Low-Reynolds k-e models are model effects. equations at pore-scale numerically solved using SIMPLE method non-orthogonal boundary-fitted coordinate system. Dispersion coefficients obtained integrating distributed parameters unit cell.
