摘要: This paper discusses issues concerning the design of cascade sigma-delta modulators intended for multistandard wireless receivers. Four standards are covered: GSM, Bluetooth, UMTS, and WLAN. A top-down methodology is proposed to find out optimum modulator topology in terms circuit complexity reconfiguration parameters. Several strategies adopted at both architecture-and circuit-level order adapt performance requirements with adaptive power consumption. Time-domain behavioural simulations shown validate presented approach.
