摘要: Intensive agri-industrial food systems in facing old and new sustainability challenges are now confronted with emergent 'alternatives', particularly local systems, that pose transformational pathways for strong sustainability. But important questions raised about the role will play creation of sustainable futures, including: Are sustainable? Can they offer a socially just replacement to agriindustrial or simply replicate problems past create ones? These questions, turn, underpinned by fundamental question: What exactly does 'sustainability' mean context futures?
