摘要: The interaction of HCl with a molybdena–silica catalyst has been investigated using e.p.r. and infrared spectroscopy. Exposure reduced catalysts to at room temperature causes large (up 20-fold) increase in the amount MoV detected by which is reversed on subsequent outgassing. accompanying changes g- 95Mo hyperfine-tensor components indicate that chloride ions replace oxide coordination sphere MoV, spin concentration attributed substitution bridging ligands between magnetically coupled ions.
