摘要: The ability to perform isochronous movements while listening a rhythmic auditory stimulus requires flexible process that integrates timing information with movement. Here, we explored how non-temporal and temporal characteristics of an (presence, interval occupancy, tempo) affect motor performance. These were chosen on the basis their modulate precision accuracy synchronized movements. Subjects have participated in sessions which they performed sets repeated wrist’s flexion–extensions under various conditions. conditions defined characteristics. Kinematic parameters evaluated during each session, analyzed. In order study effects stimulus, minimized all other sensory could interfere its perception or performance present shows distinct significantly influence by altering duration. Results provide evidence for adaptable control audio–motor coupling This flexibility would make plausible use different encoding strategies adapt specific tasks.
