摘要: The management of regulated rivers and canals involves new objectives water quality preservation. Among aspects, the development benthic algae induces impacts on both quantitative qualitative management. In open-channel networks, their growth causes accumulation biomass substratum, which decreases hydraulic performance. Their detachment increases drift particles likely to cause clogging issues. To manage these developments, we study an original strategy that consists performing flushes in order detach a part algal cover. principle is create controlled hydrodynamic perturbation thanks control structures limit quantity fixed simultaneously. We propose comprehensive model based coupled models analyse improve procedure. This was applied two real located southern France. Copyright © 2011 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
