摘要: The so-far studies on the physical determinants of roughness sensation fabrics have considered only profile amplitude fabric surface, while it is poor to discriminate regular surfaces and doesn’t involve interlocking interaction between morphology fingerprint. This work aims compare capability spectral contents in scaling tactual by fingertip touching method. A set experiments ranking perceived method were designed, Mean Deviation Surface (SMD), texture spatial period, maximum harmonic frequency extracted from morphology. concordance rank each four indexes compared. experimental results showed that spatial-intensive cues, i.e. periods equivalent single component was poor. Furthermore, observed features with a large length scale could dominate subjects perceiving roughness. Accordingly, speculation this domination tested, confirmed period dominated judgment texture-patterns spacing more than human fingerprint wavelength. It concluded coding works for contribution intensity depended contrast
