摘要: Abstract Nowadays design is faced with the challenge to contribute transition towards a sustainable society. Design for Sustainability (DfS) response this challenge. It includes but goes beyond what Environment or ecodesign provides, by integrating social, economic, environmental and institutional aspects offering opportunities get involved, express one’s own identity consuming standardised mass products. DEEDS, Leonardo research project, had mission embed sustainability in sustainability. For behalf, project partners approached issue from angles of design, science consumption analysis, developing tools rules (the SCALES principles) support DfS incorporate it into education practice. The paper describes framework conditions as explored research, obstacles identified DEEDS gives hints how overcome them based lessons learnt course project.
