摘要: Knowledge of the properties granular materials is important for efficient and safe design industrial equipment. In this work, Monte Carlo method used simulating systems spherocylindrical particles. After presenting an overview such overlap detection in hard spherocylinders, application discussed. Then, porosities, calculated simulated monodispersed beds, are presented as functions particle elongation. Next, results vibration-induced segregation binary mixtures spherocylinders with identical volume density, but different elongations, evaluated, showing influence shape on phenomenon. Finally, effects size contrasted using simultaneous variation
