摘要: The brainstem auditory evoked potentials (BAEP) are immersed in physiological and non activity. To estimate these the coherent average is most utilized accepted technique. Nevertheless, it supposes that signal stable each epoch, which not certain cases consequently distorted. Besides, time required to obtain a reliable estimation of its reply very long. For reasons, becomes necessary find different alternatives BAEP signal. In this work, discrete wavelet transform applied improve signal-to-noise ratio BAEP, looking for considerable reduction with classical method. Through multiresolution analysis, optimum coefficient’s distibution an accurate reconstruction was determined. Finally, denoising process on averages 200, 400, 600, 800 1000 epochs implemented determine minimum number estimation. results show enough equivalent 2000 epochs.
