Medical problems of adult horses, as ranked by equine practitioners.

摘要: This paper reports the results of a survey conducted among members American Association Equine Practitioners, concerning medical problems adult horses. A one-page questionnaire listing 36 grouped by body system was completed 1,149 veterinarians. The top-ranked disease colic, followed viral respiratory tract disease, endometritis, dermatitis, and parasitism. When responses were evaluated type practice, location number veterinarians in ranking top 2 diseases same for total respondents. Ranking 3 through 5 varied when these criteria taken into consideration.
