Pulse like hydrogen sensing response in Pd nanoparticle layers

摘要: This study reports an enhanced and unusual pulse like hydrogen sensing response in Pd nanoparticle layers. The faster H adsorption due to increased surface area closure of conducting paths as a result lattice expansion on hydride formation are the primary reasons for this. In comparison, thin films exhibit slow subdued because overlap above two opposing effects induced strain. Temperature independent conductivity temperature range 20–300K confirms presence interparticle gaps case
