摘要: Synthetic hectorites were hydrothermally crystallized with direct incorporation of a cationic polymer poly(dimethyl diallyl ammonium chloride) (PDDA), and two neutral cellulosic polymers hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC) hydroxyethyl cellulose (HEC). PDDA-hectorite displays the lowest d-spacing at 15.8 {Angstrom} along less (7.8 wt % organic) than (18--22 organic). Thermal analysis small angle neutron scattering used to further examine polymer-clay systems. Clay platelets largest size best stacking order occur when PDDA is used. also enhances these properties over crystallites prepared for control mineral, where no HEC acts aggregate silica, leaving react form clay. The clay which result from are small, not stacked large degree, oriented randomly. Neutral HPMC more like in that larger allowed form. extended microstructure network remains undisturbed after removed by calcination. When used, synthetic hectorite has N{sub 2} BET surface area 200 M{sup 2}/gm, even This increases 20--50% polymer-hectorites
