摘要: The effect of the poly crystal boron nitride (PCBN) tool in friction stir weld (FSW) steels was evaluated using secondary ion mass spectroscopy (SIMS) technique. This study focused on quantitative SIMS analysis impurity through a resistive anode encoder (RAE) image. RAE images were transformed retrospective depth profile by profiler. relative sensitivity factors (RSFs) for varied heavily according to polarity voltage and matrix materials. cluster-polyatomic species, 11B16O2, properly map distribution thermo-mechanically affected zone (TMAZ) FSW negative 4.5 kV. A combination ion, 11B16O2 56Fe16O provided good calibration curve 3 SRMs with least effect. concentrations TMAZ determined taking corresponding concentration value (CB) intensity ratio (Ii/Im) from unknown samples. new quantification technique is found be effective more understanding wear mechanism PCBN steels.
