Interzonal natural convection for various aperture configurations

摘要: Experiments were conducted to study the interzonal natural convection for different aperture configurations a two-zone set-up. The following four studied: (1) A center door; (2) side (3) window; and (4) split window, i.e., two small windows situated symmetrically about horizontal bisector of common wall. One zones was heated with baseboard electric heaters placed adjacent floor along wall opposite various heat inputs warmer zones. data indicate that flow coefficients used in simple one-dimensional model airflow varies configuration level input zone. Variations are apparently due fields temperature distributions each configuration.
