摘要: Since the late 1970s, Chinese government has initiated ecological restoration programs in Three North Shelter Forest System Project (TNSFSP) area. Whether accelerated climate change will help or hinder these efforts is still poorly understood. Using updated and extended AVHRR NDVI3g dataset from 1982 to 2011 corresponding climatic data, we investigated vegetation variations response change. The results showed that overall state of study region improved over past three decades. Vegetation cover significantly decreased 23.1% increased 21.8% An increase all main types (forest, grassland, cropland) was observed, but trend only statistically significant cropland. In addition, bare sparsely vegetated areas, mainly located western part area, have expanded since early 2000s. A moisture condition analysis indicated area experienced variations, with warm-wet conditions warm-dry eastern region. Correlation Normalized Difference Index (NDVI) were positively correlated precipitation negatively temperature. Ultimately, influenced growth by controlling availability soil moisture. Further investigation suggested positive impacts on NDVI weakened region, whereas negative temperature been enhanced However, recent years, converted Considering relationship between variables, warm–dry likely harmful growth, warm–wet may promote growth.
