摘要: 1. Small balloons were inserted through the left pulmonary veins so as to lie at vein—left atrial junctions. 2. Distension of caused a reflex increase in heart rate. The afferent path was vagus nerves and efferent cardiac sympathetic nerves. 3. Only small variable changes vascular resistance perfused hind limb accompanied rate when steady state had been reached. 4. In about half experiments transient vasodilatation observed limb, occurring immediately after distension vein—atrial junctions lasting 22 sec. 5. dilatation due decrease vasoconstrictor nervous activity. 6. Stimulation receptors causes an activity but does not cause corresponding limbs.
