摘要: For the present study, a comprehensive dataset on trace metals (Cd, Cu, Hg, Pb and Zn), PAHs (polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons), PCBs chlorinated biphenyls) PCDD/Fs dibenzodioxins/furans) in Scheldt River Basin Belgian Coastal Zone was gathered. The resulting time trends for emissions concentrations measured aquatic system itself are presented, discussed compared to comparable long-term studies. most of those pollutants atmospheric emission data available from 1985 onward. Earliest studies about Estuary go back 1978 general trend observed their estuary agrees fairly well with evolution emissions. Until end nineties metal decreased at fluvial marine end-members estuary. However, recent surveys indicate that dissolved particularly increased again, while did not. No historical PCDD/Fs' available. PCDD/F human milk corroborates reductions. particulate mouth follow same trend. Nevertheless, estuarine inputs Greater North Sea decrease slower than other estuaries. In sediments Upper River, clear Cd, Zn, but not Cu between 1980 2007. Also PAH decreasing during last 10 years. A lag exists moment reduction given pollutant is realized its concentration receiving environment.
