摘要: Current epigenetic research encompasses studies on inheritance of stereotypic patterns chromatin-associated histones and nonhistone proteins, their variant forms, modifications the DNA as well proteins noncoding RNAs, relevant to nuclear-templated cellular events governing vertebrate gene function differentiation. In recent years, study chromatin interaction networks have evolved grouping meaningful recurring marks into states. Major impetus in states has been outstanding improvements analytical technology, including methodologies for efficient extraction its components, innovative preparatory chemistries, precision instrumentation, layouts with better chemical discrimination, retooled informatics capabilities. This chapter reviews some important developments this growing field interest potential uncovering novel modulatory roles activity. We outline global profiling most abundant histones, several model organisms contexts, besides correlating particular histone turnover rates specific A whole nuclear proteome description delineating an integrated workflow protein preparation, interrogation states, data analysis is illustrated.
