摘要: In rodents, the pH of tubular fluid decreases as it flows along inner medullary collecting duct (IMCD) towards tip papilla (17,18, 30), indicating that this nephron segment is an important site urinary acidification. This acidification primarily results from active proton secretion rather than bicarbonate reabsorption since accompanied with a luminal acidic disequilibrium (8, 16). However, there little information concerning molecular mechanism apical in segment.
