摘要: Permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSM) are becoming popular over Induction machines in the field of modern variable speed AC drives especially electric vehicle (EV) and hybrid EV. Its advantages include high power density, torque to current ratio, efficiency ease control. Field Oriented Control PMSM can be easily implemented using dynamic model. Torque ripple permanent-magnet is generally undesirable. Superior performance MultiLevel Inverter (MLI) two-level inverter utilized improve drive system. Inthis study both SPWM (Sinusoidal Pulse Width Modulation)based 2-level, 3-level 5-level fed were considered. These techniques studied through simulation MATLAB/SIMULINK environment performances compared. The effectiveness MLI 2-level verified from results.
