摘要: Most recent treatments of the peppers, genus Capsicum (Solanaceae), recognize four or five domesticated taxa and 20 more wild species (Eshbaugh, 1980a). The distribution is fairly well documented with exception Brazilian taxa. includes a number wide ranging as several narrow endemics, e.g., C. galapagoensis, cardenasii, etc. All are at least facultative self-fertilizers cardenasii. A survey chromosome numbers indicates n = 12 13 (Pickersgill, 1977), suggesting two lines evolution which may eventually require some realignment generic level. Changing concepts on have led from hypothesis frutescens single progenitor all domesticates (Davenport, 1970; Ramalingam, 1972; Jett, 1973), to distinct progenitors each giving rise domesticate (Heiser et al., 1971) alternatively, three independent leading baccatum, pubescens, complex annuum, chinense, 1980b). Various approaches investigating understanding in included comparative morphological investigation, karyotype analysis (Ohta, 1962; Shopova, 1966; Pickersgill, 1977) study breeding behavior unpubl.; Eshbaugh, 1975). We use technique starch gel electrophoresis provide data for different perspective Capsicum. Re-
