摘要: Most recent treatments of the peppers, genus Capsicum (Solanaceae), recognize four or five domesticated taxa and 20 more wild species (Eshbaugh, 1980a). The distribution is fairly well documented with exception Brazilian taxa. includes a number wide ranging as several narrow endemics, e.g., C. galapagoensis, cardenasii, etc. All are at least facultative self-fertilizers cardenasii.
