摘要: Polyinstantiation integrity (PI) as defined in the Sea View multilevel relational data model consists of a functional dependency component and multivalued component. It is shown that latter rules out many practically useful relations therefore unduly restrictive. This leads authors to propose PI be consist only For this revised definition PI, they formulate prove correct lossless decomposition into single-level ones with recovery based on natural join operation. >
