摘要: With the increased application of network analysis in archaeology to form hypotheses, particularly concerning research on mobility, a need has arisen validate results. This paper presents case study local transport Dutch part Roman limes between 70-270 AD created using least-cost approach, and tests robustness metric betweenness centrality archaeological interpretation thereof. It is demonstrated that while majority sites have robust thus reliable centrality, there are still large number for which measurements very dependent precise structure present. Testing results proves useful tool both validating modeling as well interpretations network.
