摘要: This article is based on a single interview session with 7-year-old girl, Waheeda, regarding the cat Izzy that Waheeda used to have 2 years before interview. The was part of research project explored relationships multicultural children their companion animals. first tries give larger impression Waheeda’s way being (including consciousness) in two segments interview, using philosophy, concepts, and techniques Portraiture sense Lawrence-Lightfoot Davis, Witz. last section suggests natural developmental precursor consciousness adults when they talk about things experienced past, her “self-actualized” behavior second segment shows love had arisen for Izzy.
