摘要: This paper reports a simple, inexpensive and fast method to prepare SnO2 nanowires. A large amount of ultra-long high purity single-crystalline nanowires with rutile structure, that is over hundreds micrometers in length 20–100 nm diameter, have been synthesized through one-step typical thermite reaction at 200 °C O2 atmosphere, gas pressure 0·9 atm. These do not grow one direction as those by other methods do, are perfect single crystals without any dislocation or point defects detected TEM images. The optoelectronic properties these smooth uniform characterized means X-ray photoelectron spectra, laser Raman spectrum Fourier transform infrared spectrum. result spectra analysis shows some oxygen vacancies exist In addition, possible growth mechanism the has described detail studies comparative experiments, which quite different from methods.
