摘要: Background: Low socioeconomic status is associated with poor diet, food insufficiency, and child health. Hispanic households have disproportionately low incomes. Acculturation-related changes may augment the effects of poverty on children's diet Objective: The goal was to determine associations that acculturation, measured by parents' language use, income dietary intakes insufficiency among youths. Design: Data 2985 youths aged 4-16 y were from third National Health Nutrition Examination Survey (1988-1994). Nutrient intake data one 24-h recall. analysis controlled for demographic, socioeconomic, program variables.
