摘要: Most models of psychotropic drug action have emphasized effects on the release or uptake neurotransmitters as well interactions with receptors. Stimulation neurotransmitter receptors triggers a complex array electrical and biochemical actions. Recent experimental advances greatly clarified second messenger systems underlying actions, suggesting novel sites for agents. The authors emphasize phosphoinositide system implications its involvement therapeutic actions lithium.
