摘要: Although the first publications on clinical use of peripheral nerve stimulation for treatment chronic pain came out in mid-1960s, it took 10 years before this approach was used to stimulate occipital nerves. The future is likely bring new indications, devices, paradigms, and a decrease invasiveness. As experience increases, one may expect that will eventually gain regulatory approval more most neuralgia, migraines cluster headaches. This process require additional studies, at least from US Food Drug Administration.
