The HIV Care Cascade Before, During, and After Incarceration: A Systematic Review and Data Synthesis

摘要: We conducted a systematic literature review of the data on HIV testing, engagement in care, and treatment incarcerated persons, estimated care cascade this group. identified 2706 titles MEDLINE, EBSCO, Cochrane Library databases for studies indexed to January 13, 2015, included 92 analysis. summarized testing results by type (blinded, opt-out, voluntary); reviewed engagement, treatment, virological suppression; synthesized these into an before, during, after incarceration. The following diagnosis increased during incarceration declined substantially release, often levels lower than before Incarceration provides opportunity address hard-to-reach individuals, though new interventions are needed improve postrelease continuity.
