摘要: In 2010, the Philippines appeared to be on track attain by 2015 its target for Millennium Development Goals 4 (Reduce child mortality), but less so Goal 7 (Ensure environmental sustainability). pursuit of latter, government expands provision water and services more households. Applying propensity score matching technique data from four rounds a nationwide survey, such interventions are found reduce incidence diarrhea, persistent top cause mortality, though not always. The impact improved sources drinking is 1.3% 2.6% in 1993 2.9% 4.6% 2003, none 1998 2008. sanitation 1.2% 2.1% 3.1% 4.7% 2008; 2003. addition health interventions, regular monitoring quality at household level suggested achieve 4.
