摘要: Abstract The Ghana Academy of Arts and Sciences devoted its conference in 1989 to the discussion urbanisation Ghana. Its verdict was a report called Future Our Cities. This essay reviews future Ghanaian cities as seen 19 years ago that book attempts an assessment contemporary urbanisation, drawing on literature urban planning newspaper radio commentaries. It is argued although there have been some achievements resourcing police force, for example, waste mismanaged, unemployment high traffic congestion more pervasive than ever. Some proposals mitigating these hardships are presented.
