摘要: The primary objective of this longitudinal study was to determine the association between cardiorespiratory fitness and risk overweight status in youth. To accomplish aim we analyzed data from annual school-based surveys anthropometry conducted 2004 2006. first analysis performed on a cohort 902 youth aged 6-15 years followed for 12 months assess levels determined graded maximal field test becoming overweight. second 222 2 continuous changes weight gain. Children with low were characterized by higher waist circumference disproportionate gain over 12-month follow-up period (P < 0.05). Within entire cohort, classification 3.5-fold (95% confidence = 2.0-6.0, P 0.001) fitness, relative fit peers. A time series mixed effects regression model revealed that reductions significantly independently associated increasing BMI (r -0.18, 0.05) Accordingly, are children old. An assessment using common may prove useful identification at serve as potential target obesity prevention.
