摘要: The dynamic response and damage of laminated composite cylindrical shell subjected to impact load is numerically investigated using the finite element method. A nine-node isoparametric quadrilateral based on Sander's theory developed, in which transverse shear deformation considered. semi-empirical contact law that accounts for permanent indentation incorporated into program evaluate force. Newmark time ingegration algorithm used solving dependent equations impactor. Tsai-Wu failure criterion estimate shell. Numerical results, including force history, interlaminate zone, indices are presented. Effects curvature, velocity mass impactor behaviors discussed.
