摘要: Zika virus (ZIKV) infection is associated with microcephaly in fetuses, but the pathogenesis of ZIKV-related not well understood. Here we show that ZIKV infects subventricular zone human fetal brain tissues and tissue tropism broadens progression gestation. Our research demonstrates also intermediate progenitor cells (IPCs) are main target for ZIKV. Post-mitotic committed neurons become susceptible to as at later stages Furthermore, activation microglial cells, DNA fragmentation, apoptosis infected or uninfected could be found ZIKV-infected tissues. studies identify IPCs They suggest immune after may play an important role microcephaly.
