摘要: Publisher Summary Video contrast enhancement is a technique that considerably improves images obtained by large variety of video-based imaging systems used in light, electron, and confocal microscopy. The specimens, most suitable for observation this technique, are unstained, low-contrast objects, such as living cells, uncontrasted semi-thin electronmicroscopic sections, or gels colloidal material. Video-enhanced (VEC) microscopy requires the combination versatile, high-quality research microscope with an analog digital real time image processor. Since VEC best applied DIC, it should be noted DIC microscopes differ separation two orthogonally polarized wave trains. picked up video camera, usually chalnicon newvicon tube camera. Charge-coupled device (CCD) cameras equally only if they have comparable dynamic range. use light scrambler meticulous cleaning lens surfaces projecting system to camera help permitting high levels enhancement.
