摘要: A tubular tapered composite pole for supporting utility lines and a method making the same. The is formed from plurality of elongated panels made pultruded material having height H 1 in range 30 feet-120 feet. An interlocking structural groove on one side edges panel during pultrusion process. other edge by biased angle cut bottom to its top give it generally trapezoidal shape. tongue shaped structure machined along length angularly edge. have L their 6″-24″ 2 3″-16″. respective interlocked together form closed loop extending pole. special double groove, known as fir tree joint designed allow insertion elastically, then provide significant clamping pressure once interlocked.
