摘要: Abstract The adsorption properties of oxidized carboxymethyl starch (OCMS) and cross-linked (CCMS) with groups for calcium ion in aqueous solution were investigated. Removal efficiency from was found to be dependent on initial concentration ion, the adsorbent dose temperature. Ionization OCMS CCMS necessary effective removal. When pH adjusted below 4.0, no longer an calcium-sequestering agent. Regardless type, capacities two anionic starches reached a state equilibrium within 30 min dispersion salt solution. Adsorption followed modified Freundlich kinetics rate being higher by that CCMS. constant decrease increase isotherm models developed wherein best fit obtained Langmuir model CCMS, respectively. Thermodynamic study indicated process exothermic, enthalpy change (ΔHθ), entropy (ΔSθ), free energy (ΔGθ) calculated data basic thermodynamic relations. It assessed occurred strong electrostatic interactions negative enthalpy.
