摘要: Elimination of plasmids from Thermus flavus, T. thermophilus and three wild strains caused alterations in growth temperature range, pigmentation membrane fatty acids without affecting viability. Following plasmid elimination all lost their ability to grow above 70°C. In addition, the minimum was lowered by 5–10°C. Fatty were reduced an average approximately 35%. contribution iso- anteisobranched altered four five strains. The iso C15:0/iso C17:0 ratio approached 1.0 strains, whereas anteiso C15:0/anteiso 0.2. C16:0/normal-C16:0 increased due increase C16:0 a reduction normal-C16:0 relative one strain. However, it evident that plasmid-free able compensate for these fluidity certain extent reducing chain length isobranched acids. Altered acid metabolism at level precursors may have influenced composition consequently range.
