摘要: We compared results for the liquid-chromatographic determination of free norepinephrine and epinephrine in urine after purifying catechols by following methods: (a) acid-washed alumina, (b) weak cation-exchange resin (WCX), (c) a combination followed alumina (WCX-alumina), (d) commercially available phenylboronic acid adsorbent. evaluated analytical specificity, sensitivity, recovery, turnaround time. The WCX-alumina produced most sensitive specific chromatograms urinary catecholamines; other methods took less processing Neither WCX nor alone was suitable routine work because chromatographic interferences significant proportion urines. method is adequately epinephrine, samples can be assayed faster. Thus it provides compromise between high performance speed methods.
