Diagnosis and treatment of the plica syndrome of the knee.

摘要: Seventy-three knees with a symptomatic plica were managed using both conservative and operative methods. Twelve patients successfully treated conservatively. Fifty-seven (sixty-one knees) underwent arthrotomy partial synovectomy or release of the through operating arthroscope, all but two returned to full activity. The results considered excellent good after an average follow-up nineteen months.
