摘要: Among the technologies that are under study for CO2 capture from flue gas, separation process using monoethanolamine (MEA) could be first to available immediate industrial applications in next few years. The principles of alkanolamines were discovered nearly a century ago. has been applied successfully several decades areas such as natural gas processing or coal gasification. application treatment was introduced early 1980s, but not widespread. In processes, corrosion represents one major operational problems. For MEA, problem is even more critical since (i) MEA most corrosive amine when compared secondary tertiary amines also used sweetening, and (ii) contains certain amount oxygen, which can react with form degradation products. In framework CAPRICE project, an International cooperation exchange project supported by EU, Test centre Capture University Regina (CA) IFP (F) have shared their experience on monitoring pilot plants. plant facility owned ITC. It capacity 1 ton CO2/day burner. equipped control instruments other systems. second located fired power station Esbjerg (DK). built financial support UE through CASTOR lead IFP. operation 2006, 1.0 CO2/hour. weight loss coupons evaluation at different locations process. This paper presents results testing both plants operation. appeared susceptible stripper inlet outlet, rates around mm.year−1 carbon steel.
