摘要: Abstract The survival of radiolabelled autologous, allogeneic and xenogeneic (sheep) erythrocytes in the lizard Tiliqua rugosa was investigated. It found that five six normal lizards did not clear significantly more quickly than autologous cells were cleared (T1/2 - 58 days). One showed evidence immune clearance after an initial period 13-15 days. In contrast, sheep rapidly removed from vascular system. These data are compared to analogous results reported for chickens suggest either do express MHC antigens, or if they do, then such antigens differ immunogenicity, degree polymorphism and/or density.
