Extra rejuvenation of Zr55Cu30Al10Ni5 bulk metallic glass using elastostatic loading and cryothermal treatment interaction

摘要: Abstract This work reports the feasibility of extra rejuvenation in a ZrCuAlNi bulk metallic glass (BMG) under combination cryothermal treatment and tensile elastostatic loading low stresses. Pair distribution function analysis shows that annihilation Cu-centered clusters as well increase population Al-centered intensification spatial connectivity are signs evolution treatment. On other side, leads to an extensive disordering through both short range medium scales. The maximum stored energy values with BMG were 0.52 0.73 Kj/mol, respectively. two mentioned processes on sample also indicates material can inherit characteristics structural changes which caused by altogether. event generates (0.92 Kj/mol).
