摘要: Exsiccatae in the bryophyte collection of National Herbarium Pretoria (PRE) are catalogued for first time. Most 66 series represented PRE were issued Europe, but USA is country where largest number exsiccatae originated. The span three centuries, with earliest specimens 1845 and latest 2009. This indicates long-standing exchange material transfer knowledge between herbaria South Africa countries northern Hemisphere. Many incomplete received as duplicates sets rather than exsiccatae. houses a important African southern hemisphere including two different A. Rehmann’s Musci Austro-Africani (1875–1877) cont. , R. Ochyra’s Bryophyta Antarctica exsiccata .
