摘要: Active counterpositioning and orthotic helmets are the two main nonsurgical management options for positional plagiocephaly. The purpose of this study was to compare these regimens. We included a random sample infants referred between January 1, 1998 October 31, 1999 Middlemore Hospital Auckland Surgical Center, Two-dimensional head tracings were taken each infant, every 3 12 months. From tracings, we obtained Cranial Index Vault Asymmetry Index. Seventy-nine assessed during an average 48.2 weeks. Five had normal therefore excluded from study.
