摘要: Abstract We investigated the effect of ertapenem on carbapenem susceptibility Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Antibiotic consumption was recorded monthly in defined daily doses (DDD)/100 patient-days infectious diseases (ID), abdominal surgery (AS), and surgical intensive care units(SICU) a teaching hospital from January 2005 to December 2008. Trends decreased P. aeruginosa were observed all three units. After introduction ertapenem, number isolates/1000 patients-days per month increased AS SICU (p = 0.05). The increase non-susceptible same units less significant 0.07 p 0.054). Correlations between non-susceptibility for lagtime 1 6 months ahead gave no result.
