A rapid and sensitive screening kit for the detection of anti-Toxocara larval ES antibodies

摘要: Abstract We developed a new screening kit for the detection of anti-Toxocara larval excretory-secretory antibodies. The test can be performed within 3 min one sample and does not require high-priced supplemental instrument. Moreover, results are easily directly observed. Using this kit, 22 sera taken from healthy subjects were negative antibodies at serum dilution 1:20. Of 14 proven cases parasitic infections other than toxocariasis, (gnathostomiasis) showed positive result, but others negative. In serologically diagnosed good correlation with ELISA, immunoblot double gel diffusion tests. designated as ToxocaraCHEK.
