摘要: Abstract Evidence is available that morphologic and electrophysiologic abnormalities are present in the failing heart. In work, progressive changes electrical properties morphology of heart Syrian cardiomyopathic hamsters (TO2) were investigated at different stages pathological process, possible role renin–angiotensin system was studied. Cardiomyopathic 2 11 months age used. Age-matched normal (F1B) utilized as controls. Measurements membrane potential, conduction velocity refractoriness made with conventional intracellular electrodes connected to a high impedance DC amplifier. Serum cardiac angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) activities measured controls animals. The results indicated interstitial fibrosis calcification 2-month old hamsters. resting potential performed isolated right ventricle an average value −66.7±0.96 mV ( n =25); same −78.5±1 =25, P =10). duration action 50 90% repolarization well above (44.2±1.6 cm/s, =12) not from control (43.7±1.1 =7, >0.05) but significantly larger than recorded 11-month animals (37.8±2.9 =11, >0.05), myopathic age, activity (0.56±0.027 nmol/mg×min) greater
