摘要: Abstract The superconducting properties of the Mo2−xMxBC borocarbides (M Zr, Nb, Rh, Hf, Ta, W) are reported. They have an Mo2BC-type structure with orthorhombic symmetry and space group Cmcm. Stoichiometric powder samples were prepared by arc melting. A large single crystal Mo2BC was obtained a Czochralski-type method. upper limit x depends mainly on size M atoms. study magnetization as function field at different temperatures shows that all type II superconductors. Resistivity measurements give generally critical temperature Tcr above 4.2 K. fields Hc2 increase for rhodium substitution but decrease in other cases. For comparison discussed terms valence electron concentration molar volume.
